Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758) was an American theologian and pastor. He and his wife Sarah faithfully served in Northampton for 23 years where he played a significant role in the Great Awakening.

Great to learn things I’ve never heard before.
All the stuff about Sarah new to me including being 12(?) when Jonathan first laid eyes on her; 17(?) when she married; having 10+ children (?) – imagine having a new present every 2 years!;writing to her daughter about Jonathan’s death, a letter she never read because she died before she received it; Sarah tasked with raising her dead daughter’s (who’d already lost a husband) children before Sarah herself died (Death, death, death!
