Scripture reference: Mark 9:43-48
Hell is real. The torment in hell is horrific and eternal. The consequence of sin is to be thrown into hell and excluded from the kingdom of God. For this reason Jesus warned us to turn from sin, even if we need to suffer some great loss in order to overcome it.
