In the opening of the letter of 1 John, the author tells us about God’s own eternal Life. The Life was made manifest in the historical Jesus. The Life was seen, heard and touched by John and the Apostles. The Life was proclaimed by John and the Apostles. And the Life is shared with all who believe.
