Joseph’s brothers return to Egypt and after being warmly hosted by Joseph, they are tested by his silver cup being placed in Benjamin’s sack. Judah intercedes for Benjamin and offers to substitute for him. Joseph reveals his identity and the brothers return to Canaan with the news for their father, Jacob, that Joseph is alive and ruling Egypt.
